I loved this conversation with Janet Irizzary - she has tons of experience in the food business to base her upcoming course, My Mindful Kitchen (MMK) to reduce food waste for families.

Janet has run several restaurants, and has seen a lot of food waste, but says the highest amount of food waste is in the home, so she's using the skills she's learned to help families work together to cut that back, and build stronger family ties in the meantime. She also is an instructor at the Culinary Institute of America, and has a degree in Education, so she's very qualified to put this program out to make a difference in home kitchens!
